The chessboard is made from solid wood and plywood, stained, lacquered, and decorated with inlay (intarsia) – a technique where pieces of wood of different colors are inserted into the surface to form decorative patterns. Each board is unique and of exceptional quality.

The interior is lined with soft green felt to protect the pieces.

The chess pieces are made of hornbeam wood, weighted for better stability, and felted on the bottom to prevent scratches.
